For a limited time, from now until midnight on Friday the 15th, Google is allowing businesses to fast-track Google My Business verification.
As Google mentions, one of the main benefits of having a verified Google My Business listing during this time of year is the ability to set special holiday hours.
Expedited verification is available only to businesses in the US and Canada. To take advantage of this, businesses need to fill out a form. The straightforward form asks for your name, the name of your business, the city where your business is located, and the Google username associated with the business listing.
After submitting the form, the Google team will manually review it for eligibility. If eligible for verification, your business will be verified within 5 days of submission. Google will either send a confirmation email if you are verified or inform you of any issues that need to be addressed if you are not verified.
Please note that expedited verification is not available for agency listings or bulk submissions.
